Who We See from Western Sydney

Western Sydney patients attending the clinic include a wide cross-section of the community.

Trades, construction, and logistics workers
Physical and manual work places significant demands on the body. Lower back pain, shoulder injuries, and knee problems from heavy lifting, repetitive tasks, and prolonged physical activity are among the most common presentations from Western Sydney workers. WorkCover, Linfox, and FPES early intervention claims are accepted and billed direct to your insurer.

Office and desk workers
The growth of business and professional services across the Parramatta CBD and surrounding areas has brought with it a rise in neck pain, back pain, and wrist pain from prolonged sitting and screen use. Our physiotherapists work with desk-based workers to address both the symptoms and the contributing factors in their daily routine.

Runners and active community members
Western Sydney has a growing running and fitness community. Parkrun events at Auburn, Rhodes, and Wentworth Common attract runners from across the region. The Sydney Marathon and Hoka Half Marathon draw significant participation from Western Sydney. Our physiotherapists treat running injuries and offer individual Running Biomechanical Assessments for those who want a detailed look at their technique and injury risk.

Families and children
Sports injuries in children and teenagers from soccer, rugby league, cricket, and other popular Western Sydney sports are commonly seen at the clinic. Parents are involved throughout the assessment and treatment process.

Culturally and linguistically diverse patients

What the Clinic Offers

Sessions are delivered in a private consultation room with access to a full commercial gym. Appointment times are longer, running 40 to 90 minutes depending on the service, giving our physiotherapists the time needed to fully assess and treat each patient rather than fitting everything into a brief standard appointment.

Joshua Onden Lim founded Onward Physiotherapy and completed his physiotherapy training at the University of Sydney, graduating with a Master of Physiotherapy. He has over a decade of clinical experience across public hospital and private practice settings, with additional training in running biomechanics, TMJ physiotherapy, and dance physiotherapy.
